Introduction
I have decided to blog about the American Cancer Society. It is sad to say, but most of us know someone who has been either directly or indirectly affected with cancer. Since I was in elementary school I have been participating in the Relay for Life and other small fundraisers for finding a cure.

Tomi, this is a great think you are doing! It is closely related with my blog as well. I belive that ACS is the best way to get the word out there about cancer and have people our age get involoved. I'm sure looking forward to reading more!

ReplyDeleteTomi, I agree that the ACS is a fantastic organization helping out so many families and people looking for a cure. Like you, I have been attending local Relay For Life events for the past 5-6 years.
ReplyDeleteI think awareness for ACS is so important. Cancer is something that we all need to educate ourselves about and participating in something like Relay for Life can build awareness and education and this is such a great idea. I look forward to reading your future posts.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a great blog I can already tell. I don't know anyone who doesn't know someone else that has been affected by cancer which is sad, but unfortunately the truth. However I do think we could save more lives if we could better educate people on protecting themselves and noticing the signs for early prevention.
